Meet the Comics

 
                 

NEGIN FARSAD 
                                                                                                                      

Negin Farsad is an Iranian-American comedian, writer and actor. She is currently producing/directing/performing in the upcoming Comedy Central series, The Watch List, the first show to feature Middle-Eastern American comics. Her work has been called 'smart, funny, and fascinating' by The Wall Street Journal, the Chicago Tribune, and Backstage. Her first ever musical, “The Israeli-Palestinian Conflict: A Romantic Comedy,” recently premiered at the New York International Fringe Festival.

ADRIENNE IAPALUCCI

Adrienne Iapalucci:   Adrienne won the 2009 First-Ever People's Choice Opening Act Competition and was chosen to perform at NYC’s Town Hall Theater as part of the New York Comedy Festival. She was a semi-finalist on the most recent season of NBC's "Last Comic Standing."  At the Montreal Just For Laughs Comedy Festival, she was dubbed by the Hollywood Reporter as a breakout comic. In 2010 she was a Finalist in the New York Comedy Festival's "New York's Funniest Stand Up” Competition.

Leighann Lord:   Smart, sexy, savvy, funny! If comedy was music she’d be jazz. Stand-up comedian Leighann Lord has appeared on numerous comedy shows including Lifetime’s Girls Night Out, The Original HBO Def Comedy All Star Jam, ABC’s The View, Comedy Central’s Premium Blend and Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen. Her comedy album, “I’ve Got Connections” is played on Sirius satellite radio and is available on iTunes. She’s performed for U. S. troops in Europe, the South Pacific and the Middle East. She was recently named one of New York’s 10 Hottest Comics.

Liz  Miele:  Liz Miele started doing stand-up at 16 and now, at 23, she is a regular at  Carolines, Comic Strip Live, Gotham Comedy Club and the Laugh Factory. She has appeared on "Live at Gotham" on Comedy Central. She has also appeared on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, The Daily Show and the WE Network. At 18, Liz was profiled in the April 2004 issue of The New Yorker. Her comedy has been featured on AOL, XM radio, and Comedynet.com.
